Squirrels!

Learning about hibernation is an exciting way for 3- and 4-year-olds to explore the wonders of nature! Young children enjoy discovering how animals prepare for winter by eating extra food, finding cozy shelters, and sleeping for long periods of time. Through books, songs, crafts, and hands-on activities, preschoolers build their curiosity and develop an early understanding of science while having fun learning about the changing seasons.

This week, we learned about animals that hibernate, migrate, and adapt! The children enjoyed discovering how different animals survive as the seasons change. From bears sleeping through the winter to birds flying south and animals growing thicker fur, our little learners had fun exploring the amazing ways animals live and thrive in nature.
