Little Hands, Big Patriotism: Preschoolers Create a Fourth of July Canvas {Toddler Art}

There’s something magical about watching preschoolers express themselves through art. This week, our little artists celebrated the Fourth of July by creating festive painted canvases filled with bright colors, creativity, and plenty of smiles!

Using red, white, and blue paint, each child transformed a blank canvas into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Some explored painting stars and stripes, while others enjoyed making colorful handprints, fingerprints, and cheerful bursts of color that captured the excitement of Independence Day. Every canvas reflected the unique imagination and personality of its young creator.

4th of July Fun!

 Our class had so much fun creating festive Fourth of July firecracker crafts! Using colorful paper, paint, and sparkly decorations, they designed their own bright and patriotic masterpieces.

SCIENCE PROJECT

Our preschoolers had a wonderful time exploring a simple science experiment with white daisies and colorful water! After adding different watercolor paints to cups of water, we placed the daisies inside and watched as the petals slowly began to change colors. The children were excited to observe how the flowers absorbed the colored water through their stems, turning this fun activity into a hands-on lesson about how plants drink water.

Watercolors and Ice Cubes {Toddler Art}

A combination of art with chemistry creates beautiful creations by adding watercolors to ice cubes.  We added salt to different areas to make divots and patterns in the ice cubes. Then, we painted the ice cubes using watercolors to create a stunning pattern. This is a fun way to incorporate art and science.
