Little Pine Tree

CIRCLE TIME
Little Pine Tree
Little Pine tree, little pine tree
(Stretch arms out to sides).
You have branches green and wide.
Little pine tree, little pine tree
(Sway body from side to side)
Gently sway from side to side.

Little pine tree, little pine tree
(Hold arms above head).
In the winter woods you grow.
Little pine tree, little pine tree
(Stand on tiptoes; stretch arms up high).
Stand so bravely in the snow.

Little pine tree, little pine tree
(Wiggle fingers above head).
You have snowflakes in your hair!
Little pine tree, little pine tree.
 (Make a welcoming motion).
Welcome birds to shelter there.

Six Little Evergreens
Six little trees standing in a row,
Their prickly needles all covered with snow.
The first tree is short.
The second tree is tall.
The third tree looks like it just might fall.
The fourth tree is skinny.
The fifth tree is stumpy.
The sixth tree’s bark is rough and bumpy!
Six little trees standing in a row,
Their prickly needles all covered with snow.
