Strawberry Disguise

This week, our preschoolers enjoyed reading the beloved story The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear! The children loved following along as the little mouse tried to keep his delicious strawberry safe from the mysterious bear.

After the story, we got creative by making our own bright red strawberry crafts! To add to the fun, the children "disguised" their strawberries using different art materials, just like the little mouse tried to hide his precious treat. They had so much fun using their imaginations to decorate and camouflage their strawberries in unique and creative ways.
This activity encouraged creativity, storytelling, and fine motor skill development while helping the children make meaningful connections to the book. We loved seeing all of the imaginative ideas our little learners came up with, and no two disguised strawberries were alike!

Dinosaur Day Adventures!

Our kiddos had a roaring good time during our dinosaur-themed activities! The day began with the children creating their very own dinosaurs using a variety of art materials. From colorful scales to spiky tails, each dinosaur was as unique and imaginative as its creator.

Next, we put our thinking skills to work with a dinosaur matching game. The children enjoyed finding matching pairs while practicing memory, concentration, and problem-solving skills. It was exciting to watch them cheer each other on as they searched for the perfect match!

To wrap up our prehistoric fun, everyone took turns playing Pin the Tail on the Dinosaur. With lots of giggles and encouragement from friends, the children did their best to place the tail in just the right spot. It was a fun way to build coordination, practice taking turns, and celebrate teamwork.

Our Dinosaur Day was filled with creativity, learning, laughter, and plenty of prehistoric fun. We can't wait for our next adventure together!
