SONGS
Mr. Oak Tree
(sung to the tune of"Where Is Thumbkin?")

Mr. Oak Tree,
(Hold your arms above your head and sway.)
Mr. Oak Tree,
Leaves float down,
(Extend hands over head and flutter down.)
To the ground.
Acorns dropping—plip, plop!
(Clap once when each italicized word is sung.)
Squirrels a-scamp'ring—hip, hop!
All around,
(Move hands in front of yourself from left to right.)

On the ground.

GAMES

Red Light / Green Light
Start with everyone along the starting line,

When you say ‘Green Light’ everyone will move towards the finish line,

When you say ‘Red Light’ everyone must immediately stop.
If players are still moving when you call ‘Red Light’, they must go back to the starting line.
Start a new round when everyone gets across the finish line or when most players make it across the finish line.

SONGS
RED, YELLOW, GREEN
Tune: Three Blind Mice

Red, yellow, green.

Red, yellow, green.
What do they mean?
What do they mean?
Red means stop, yellow means slow,
Green means go.
Now we know!
Red, yellow, green.
